As the Director of Broadcasting and Production for the Detroit Lions and Ford Field, I have worked with Mark Simoni and his great staff for more than twelve years. We have relied on Simoni Systems for a multitude of projects and have always come away happy with the results. Most recently, we bid out and then purchased a new digital audio mixer at Ford Field and Mark played an integral role with this. During the construction phase of building Ford Field, I relied heavily on Mark and his staff to help implement a new audio system at the stadium.

 

Mark is extremely knowledgeable and I feel like he always has our best interest in mind when working on a project. Perhaps just as importantly, their reliability in support events has always been unbeatable. We can always count on Simoni Systems to be there for us when called!

At University Commons we have a large recital/dining hall that provides a particularly challenging environment for any sound system. That, coupled with the demographics of the population (an over 55 senior community) many of whom have the typical age-related high-frequency hearing loss, and in some cases worse, made specification and implementation of an appropriate PA sound system a daunting task. We sent out several RFQs and started evaluating the results. We met with each company and discussed the challenge. All recognized the issues, but only one, Simoni Systems, went to the trouble to do a computer simulation of the environment.

We chose Simoni Systems because they were the only company recommending a solution based on science. Additionally, they had excellent references and a willingness to work closely to achieve the needed results. Our instincts were well founded. Simoni Systems is very professional, yet exceptionally flexible and easy to work with in achieving the goals. The results speak for themselves, literally, and have provided an excellent solution to our PA/sound issues.

When the building committee at St. Kieran Catholic Church decided to renovate the existing church building and added a new daily Mass chapel, we interviewed a number of companies to provide the design and installation of a state of the art sound and video system.  After meeting with Mark Simoni of Simoni Systems, the committee members unanimously agreed that we wanted Simoni Systems to both design and provide the installation of our system.

 

What particularly impressed me as pastor was the detailed inquiry into what we perceived to be our real needs in what had always been an acoustically challenging building.  Where other vendors seemed most interested in selling us lots of acoustical “padding”, Simoni did an extensive acoustical study of the facility and recommended things that seemed counterintuitive to what we had heard from others.

 

In the end it came down to a single fact: we felt that we could completely trust Mark Simoni and his team to guide us in doing what would provide the best possible solution to the challenges we faced at a price we could afford.  We have been exceptionally pleased with the results, as have our parishioners.  Simoni Systems provided training for our staff and have responded to ongoing questions and made adjustments accordingly, promptly and cheerfully.  The Simoni team has without exception been friendly and helpful – simply great people to work with.

 

As pastor of this 3,000 family community, I knew the expectations of our congregation would be high.  I am happy to report that those expectations were met and exceeded by Mark Simoni and the entire team at Simoni Systems.  I am grateful.  My prayers were answered.

Your acoustical design and the recommendations for the treatment on the walls brought the auditorium to a very acceptable level. The audio and video equipment have provided our customer with an outstanding system. It has been our privilege the past couple of months to work with Simoni Systems during our building project. We have always heard of their fine reputation for quality work and now our name can be added to the list of satisfied customers. From the initial fact finding meetings, the design and all the way through the installation we were treated with respect and were kept up to date on the progress. We are blessed to have staff people with a fair amount of knowledge in this field and I am told that at no time did Simoni ever try to up sell or sell us products we did not need. They worked with our staff and incorporated some of our existing product into our new system.
